Welcome to Perceptions of Lebanon!

Welcome everyone to Perceptions of Lebanon (PoL). We hope to have scheduled debates, PoL is a collaborative effort to discuss the politics, philosophy, history, culture, people, current events, and even the food of Lebanon. Additionally, education is one of our main goals. We will have book reviews, travel logs, interviews with politicians/news makers and reports of important Lebanese events. As of right now there will be two contributors. I hope to give an American, non-Lebanese perspective of Lebanon. Our other contributor Joelle gives us a Lebanese-European (Swedish) perspective on Lebanon, in addition she will be writing some posts in Swedish. In the future we hope to have a native Lebanese perspective, with pieces in French and Arabic.
